Heaton Park Tramway is run by the Manchester Transport Museum Society.  We currently have three operating electric trams running on a stretch of track dating back to the original Manchester Tramway which used to operate into the park.  Since opening in 1980, we have extended the line three times and run across the park to the boating lake.  We are currently operating on Sundays over the winter season.  Come and pay us a visit. We look forward to seeing you!

*Please note that our planned pirate event has been scuppered, but the tramway will be open that day, with a regular service. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
