Stockport 5 to operate at Heaton Park

We are proud to announce that Stockport 5 is to operate at Heaton park for at least 3 years, arriving in time for a planned celebration of Stockport Tramways on Sunday 28th August.

Pete Waterman officially opens the new extension

Following months of hard work, the extension was offically opened today by pop impresario and steam train enthusiast Pete Waterman.

Work on the extension nears completion

Trams have reached the new terminus ! Trackwork is now complete and has been tested with all the trams. We are now finishing off, with new signs being the latest addition.

Manchester 765 has come back to Manchester, with Blackpool 31 returning to Beamish.

765 joined 6 at Beamish for their first major event of the year.

The Museum of Museums has closed the heritage collections area for building works. 702 and 623 will now be stored and not viewable by the public.
