Work is now well underway on our extension at Lakeside. 14th November 2010 Seen on 14th November, the overhead is now complete for the main line. The wiring for the stub will be added on at a later date. 9th November 2010 3 days' work this week saw the overhead wire fitted and connected. 26th October 2010 2 days after painting, the poles were erected. 24th October 2010 Stephen and Peter pole painting. 12th October 2010 The roadway top coat has been laid. 10th October 2010 The roadway is now open for pedestrians. The terminus will feature 2 tracks. 2nd October 2010 The roadway has now been fixed and tarmac laid. 25th September 2010 21st September 2010 The extension is now taking shape. Sleepers have been laid as well as some lengths of track panels. Overhead poles are also on site. 5th September 2010 A base is prepared. 31st August 2010 The area is already fenced off.
